BRIDPORT — Police say a 35-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges following an investigation into several local burglaries.
Police say during the months of August through November, 2019, they investigated multiple burglary, theft and fraud complaints.
As a result of the lengthy investigation, probable cause was established that Japheth Kehoe, of Bridport, has violated multiple criminal violations.
On January 3, police took Kehoe into custody on unrelated charges.
He is facing numerous charges which include four counts of false pretenses or tokens, burglary, receiving stolen property, unlawful mischief, forgery and counterfeiting of papers, petit larceny, and unlawful trespass.
Police say he was issued several criminal citations to appear in court.
Due to the complexity of the cases and numerous charges, Kehoe was ordered to appear at two different arraignment dates.
