Burglars hit Jolley Convenience Store in Ferrisburgh, steal cigarettes

FERRISBURGH — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two male suspects who allegedly stole several cartons of cigarettes at a store in Ferrisburgh yesterday.

At around 3:40 a.m., police were advised of exterior and interior motion alarms signaled at the Jolley Convenience Store located on US Route 7.

Police are saying that two male subjects used force to gain entry into the building and stole several cartons of cigarettes.

Police say a Subaru Impreza, WRX or other similarly described vehicle, is thought to be involved in this incident.

Anyone that may have noticed anything suspicious or anyone that may have seen a vehicle in the area as described around the time of the incident is asked to contact state police.

During the past several weeks, there have been a number of incidents where convenience stores and gas stations have been burglarized.
