Driver injured during single-vehicle crash in Salisbury

SALISBURY — A 23-year-old Lincoln man was injured during a single-vehicle crash in Salisbury on Wednesday.

The crash took place on West Shore Road at around 9:42 p.m.

The driver, Logan Marsano, was initially transported to Porter Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash, and later transported to UVM Medical Center for further care.

According to the report, Marsano was headed north and attempted to pass another motor vehicle traveling in the same direction at that time.

While doing so, police say Marsano exited the southbound lane of travel, losing control of the vehicle, and colliding with a stone wall.

State Police were assisted by the Salisbury Fire Department, Middlebury Rescue, the Middlebury Police Department, and Middlebury Heavy Rescue.
