FERRISBURGH — A 40-year-old Bristol man was cited for a DUI after a single-vehicle crash in Ferrisburgh yesterday.
Police responded to the crash on Plank Road at around 9:13 p.m.
Police identified the driver as Jesse Beaver, and say he was headed west before the crash.
He lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road into a ditch, police say.
Police say Beaver showed several signs of impairment.
He was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
He was cited to appear in court to answer the charge of operating under the influence of intoxicants or other substance.
Police say Beaver was later released to a responsible sober party.
