Police: Bristol man arrested for DUI, driving 120 mph in Starksboro

STARKSBORO — A 21-year-old Bristol man was arrested following an incident in Starksboro on Thursday.

Police were notified of a vehicle off the road on Vermont Route 17 at around 11:53 p.m.

The driver was identified as Ryan Prim.

While speaking with Prim, police detected indicators of impairment.

He was screened and arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Police say that Prim had been driving at 120 miles-per-hour while intoxicated.

He was processed for DUI and later released with a citation to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges of DUI #1, and grossly negligent operation.
