Police looking for Montpelier woman wanted for attempted burglary in Goshen

GOSHEN — Police are trying to locate a 44-year-old woman from Montpelier seen entering a residence in Goshen yesterday.

Police were notified that a suspicious woman, later identified as Sarah Runnion-Bareford, entered a home on Gap Road at around 1:30 p.m.

According to the report, when the residents of the home told Runnion-Bareford to leave, they noticed that she was carrying a pair of bolt cutters.

Police say she was last seen travelling north in a gray 2016 Mazda CX-5, bearing Vermont registration HDF 493.

She is also wanted for an arrest warrant out of Sullivan County, NY, for failure to appear for a previous theft charge.
