CORNWALL — Police are looking for a man who is suspected to be involved in multiple burglaries in Cornwall.

Authorities were notified of multiple break-ins to motor vehicles as well as garages along Vermont Route 30 sometime between 12:00 a.m and 6:00 a.m. on Saturday.

State police received numerous tips that a suspicious man was seen riding an adult-sized tricycle, with a wire basket behind the seat from house to house.

The man was captured on surveillance video cameras at around 2:21 a.m, rummaging through multiple unlocked vehicles, and leaving on the tricycle.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, and wearing a light-colored baggy jacket, with dark-colored pants.

Police say the suspect would park his tricycle on the shoulder of the roadway, search any and all unlocked vehicles that were parked both in driveways and unlocked garages, return to the tricycle, and pedal it to the next residence.

Among the stolen items were loose change, designer sunglasses, wallets, purses, cash, credit cards, and a set of house keys.
