BRISTOL — A 32-year-old Colchester man has been charged following a credit card theft in Bristol back in July.

Police responded to a vehicle break-in at Bristol Falls on July 21 at around 6:23 p.m.

Police were notified that several items were stolen from the vehicle to include a credit card.

The total value of the stolen items was estimated to be $1,760, police say.

After a brief investigation, police say Shane M. Morrill used the stolen credit card for the amount of $1,067.73 at a supermarket in Williston.

Police say Morrill had already been lodged for previous charges at the Northwest State Correctional Facility.

He was cited to appear in court on January 27 to answer the above charge.

The victim was a 61-year-old woman from Dorset.
