Police: Two arrested for possession of cocaine in Starksboro

STARKSBORO — Two men were arrested in Starksboro for possession of cocaine and possessing firearms on July 24.

Police say they conducted a search warrant at a home on Hillside Drive at around 3:54 p.m.

During the search police say they located a firearm inside the home and found Isaac Liberty-Hanlon, 41, of Starksboro, who police say is a convicted felon.

Police say Liberty-Hanlon is prohibited from possessing firearms.

Several bags of crack cocaine and powdered cocaine were also located inside the home.

Liberty-Hanlon and Brian LaFountain, 33, of Bristol, were both in possession of cocaine at the time of the search, police say.

They were arrested and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.

After processing, both were released with citations to appear in court at a later date.
