Shoreham woman arrested for DUI, providing false info to police

FERRISBURGH — A 29-year-old Shoreham woman was arrested for DUI and providing false information to law enforcement in Ferrisburgh early this morning.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop on US Route 7 after observing a motor vehicle violation at around 1:29 a.m.

Police identified the driver as Tyesha Franklin.

While speaking with Franklin, police say they detected indicators of impairment.

Police subsequently screened Franklin and arrested her for DUI.

Police say she also provided false information to law enforcement during the investigation.

Franklin was transported to the Vergennes Police Department for processing.

She was released with a citation to appear in court on December 23 to answer to the above charges.
