CORNWALL — A 75-year-old Sudbury woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Cornwall on Wednesday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 30 at around 6:30 a.m.
According to the report, the driver, Etta Aines, was headed north at a speed estimated to be around 50 miles-per-hour.
Police say Aines began to lose control of her vehicle, most likely due to heavy rain and traveled off the northbound shoulder.
She traveled off the road and hit a tree head-on, followed by a guardrail.
After striking the guardrail the vehicle traveled across the highway towards the southbound shoulder where it came to a position of rest.
Police say Aines suffered a minor head injury.
