ST. GEORGE — A 46-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in St. George yesterday.
The victim contacted police at around 11:33 p.m stating that Robert Russell Jr. of St. George, was violating an abuse prevention order, as well as court-ordered conditions of release by attempting to make contact with the victim.
Police say they made contact with Russell Jr. at his home in St. George and subsequently arrested him without incident.
During his arrest, Russell Jr. was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine, which was another violation of his court-ordered conditions of release, police say.
He was transported to the Williston State Police barracks for processing.
After processing, he was lodged at Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $400 bail.
He is due to appear before the court on March 16 to answer to the charges of violation of abuse prevention order, violation of conditions of release, and possession of methamphetamine.
