Three arrested after fight in Bristol

BRISTOL — Three men are facing charges following a fight in Bristol on Sunday.

Police were notified of an assault on Lower Notch Road at around 1:30 a.m.

Police say they found that Kyle Bartlett, 21, of Bristol, criminally threatened a juvenile and placed him in fear of serious bodily injury.

Following an investigation, it was also learned that Jody Bartlett, 51, of Bristol, assaulted Kaleb Gorton, 27, of Bristol, outside a home.

Police say Jody Bartlett was armed with a deadly weapon and during the encounter and pointed it at a 20-year-old woman placing her in fear of death or serious bodily injury.

Throughout the course of the investigation, police found that Gorton had violated court-ordered conditions of release.

Police say Gorton met with them at the New Haven barracks and was later released with a citation to appear in court.

Kyle Bartlett was issued a citation and later released to appear in court for criminal threatening.

Police arrested Jody Bartlett and transported him to the Bristol Police Department for processing.

He was released with a citation to appear in court to answer the charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, and false reports to law enforcement officers.
