SALISBURY — Police responded to a two-car crash in Salisbury yesterday.
The crash took place at the intersection of U.S. Route 7 and Vermont Route 53 at around 7:38 a.m.
Police say Trudy Buchanan, 46, of Addison, was headed south and had stopped to make a left turn onto Route 53.
A Ford farm truck, operated by Warren Nop, 51, of Salisbury, was also headed south.
Nop told police he observed both Buchanan and another vehicle stopped and while attempting to avoid a collision, he attempted to pass the two stopped vehicles on the left.
Police say Nop traveled left-of-center and into oncoming traffic, forcing two northbound cars to swerve in order to avoid being hit.
Nop subsequently struck Buchanan.
Police say nobody was injured in this crash and both vehicles were later driven from the scene.
Although shaken, the third driver left the scene uninjured and her vehicle undamaged.
Police were still investigating this crash and ask anyone who may have witnessed to contact the police at 802-388-4919.
