Two-vehicle crash with injuries, Bristol

BRISTOL — Police say a road was temporarily closed following a crash with injuries in Bristol yesterday.

The two-vehicle crash took place on Vermont Route 116 at the intersection of Lincoln Road, at around 12:20 p.m.

According to the police report, Michelle Steady, 30, of Whiting, was headed east, and a 17-year-old driver was headed north on Lincoln Road, before the crash.

The 17-year-old driver initially stopped at the stop sign before proceeding to make a left turn.

Police say Steady collided with the front driver’s side of the vehicle.

The young driver and a passenger from Steady’s car were subsequently transported to the hospital for injuries.

Vermont Route 116 was temporarily closed due to the crash.
