Two-vehicle crash with injury, Shoreham

SHOREHAM — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Shoreham yesterday.

The crash took place near the intersection of Vermont Route 22A and Doolitle Road at around 11:35 a.m.

According to the report, Phyllis Hall, 75, of Orwell, was headed north when she attempted to turn left into the Shoreham Halfway House Diner.

At the same time, Mikhael Yowe, 62, of Brandon, was headed south on a motorcycle.

Yowe attempted to stop prior to colliding with Hall’s vehicle, however, was unable to avoid the collision.

Police say Yowe’s motorcycle hit the passenger side of Hall’s vehicle.

Yowe sustained multiple injuries and was transported to the hospital to be treated.

Police say Hall was not injured.

They were assisted by members of the Shoreham Rescue and Fire Department, as well as Middlebury Rescue.
