Woman injured during crash in New Haven

NEW HAVEN — Police say they responded to a two-vehicle crash in New Haven yesterday.

The crash took place on Ethan Allen Highway at around 5:15 p.m.

Police identified one of the drivers as Monique Simpson, 27, of Vergennes.

Simpson was traveling north when she rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was turning right into a driveway.

She was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Police were assisted on scene by members of the New Haven Fire Department, New Haven Rescue, Bristol Rescue, and Rutland EMS.
