BRISTOL — A 31-year-old woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Bristol yesterday.
The crash took place south on Vermont Route 116 near Cobble Road at around 7:24 p.m.
The driver, identified as Ginni Lyles, of Bristol, was entrapped in her vehicle and unconscious when rescue workers arrived.
According to the report, Lyles traveled off the road and collided with a tree and power pole before rolling the vehicle onto its side.
Members of the Bristol and New Haven Fire Departments arrived and extricated her from the vehicle.
She was transported to UVM for evaluation and later released, police say.
