Deer causes crash on I-91, Newbury

NEWBURY — A 40-year-old St. Johnsbury woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash after hitting a deer in Newbury yesterday.

The crash took place on Interstate 91 north at around 9:12 p.m.

According to the report, Lisa Hyland was headed north when she collided with a deer crossing the interstate.

The vehicle, a 2015 Subaru Forester, sustained damage to the front end and the airbags deployed as a result from the crash.

Police say Hyland was not injured during the crash.
