BRADFORD — A 36-year-old man from Burlington was cited following an incident in Bradford earlier this month.

On March 4, authorities were notified of an assault at Valley Vista at around 5:20 p.m.

Police say they located the suspect, William Kavanagh, who was placed in a cruiser pending further investigation.

While Kavanagh was in the cruiser, police say he damaged the cruiser camera and audio system resulting in damage to government property.

It was later found that after a verbal altercation, Kavanagh began throwing and breaking items at Valley Vista and caused pain to a 59-year-old man.

He was transported to the Bradford Outpost for processing.

He was later released with a citation to appear in court for the charges of simple assault and unlawful mischief.
