RANDOLPH — Last Friday’s proposal from Vermont State Colleges Chancellor Jeb Spaulding to permanently shutter the campus is off the table as of Wednesday, but organizers say community support is needed now more than ever.
Community members say they will gather in front of the administration building on Vermont Technical College’s Randolph Center campus Friday, at 11 a.m. to show support for the school.
A car parade will circulate through the VTC campus clockwise, led by VTC security personnel.
Organizers say this event is a show of support, not a protest.
Participants are asked to bring only positive, supportive signs and vehicle decorations.
VTC security personnel will determine when the car parade is over.
Organizers say this will be a brief event, intended to show that the local community stands by VTC.
