Single-vehicle crash in Bradford

BRADFORD — A 42-year-old Bradford man was involved in a crash on South Main Street on Thursday.

Police responded to the crash scene which took place near the junction of High Street, at around 4:30 p.m.

Police say the driver, identified as Ben Musty, was headed west around a sweeping right hand corner.

Musty reported that he attempting to avoid an animal in the roadway and lost control of the vehicle.

He traveled off the roadway and spun before striking an embankment, causing moderate damage to the fender and grill of the vehicle.

Police say Musty was not injured in the crash.
