Single-vehicle crash with injuries on I-91, Fairlee

FAIRLEE — A 68-year-old woman from Barre was involved in a single-vehicle crash with injuries in Fairlee yesterday.

Authorities responded to the crash which took place on Interstate 91 south at around 12:30 p.m.

Police say a 2012 Subaru Impreza driven by Kathleen Cassort crossed both lanes of travel before it went off the road into the median, striking several small trees.

Police say a passenger in the vehicle, identified as Catherine Straiton, sustained a possible broken right arm as a result.

Straiton was transported to DHMC.

Lyman’s Towing later removed the vehicle from the scene.
