Two-vehicle crash with injuries, Bradford

BRADFORD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Bradford on Friday.

The crash took place near Oxbow Drive on Upper Plain at around 2:30 p.m.

Police say a 2010 Ford Taurus headed south, driven by Sandra Knapp, 71, of Haverhill, NH, was struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Colorado, driven by a 16-year-old driver from Newbury.

Police say the teenager failed to yield while making a left turn onto Upper Plain from Oxbow Drive.

Knapp and her passenger were transported to DHMC for precautionary reasons.

Police say the teenage driver was not injured and was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
