WARREN — A 33-year-old Williamstown man was charged with possession of stolen property following a burglary at Country Motor Cars in Warren back in September.

On September 9, police were notified of a burglary that took place at the dealership.

Police say multiple items were stolen including a 2015 Dodge Ram equipped with a camper in the bed.

Police located the vehicle later that evening parked on East Street in Essex Junction after responding to a motor vehicle complaint in the area.

“A subsequent investigation determined that Michael Francis of Williamstown was in possession of the vehicle prior to it being recovered by the police,” a statement issued by trooper Mathew Nadeau reads.

Police located Francis at his home in Williamstown and he was taken into custody and cited to appear in court.

The investigation is still going on about the burglary, police say.
