Baby lamb stolen in Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER — Police say they are investigating a theft reported in Bridgewater on Friday.

A lamb was stolen from an address on US Route 4.

Police say the lamb disappeared between 3:00 a.m and 4:00 a.m.

Police say tire tracks were found in close proximity to the pasture.

The lamb is described to be a Katahdin Sheep, between 1.5 and 2 months old, all white, with a light brown spot on the back of its neck.

Police say the lamb is nearly 1 ft tall and 2 ft long and is still nursing.
