Crash in Pittsford, Rutland man arrested for DUI #2

PITTSFORD — A 62-year-old Rutland man was arrested for his second DUI following a crash in Pittsford on Saturday.

The two-vehicle crash took place on Chittenden Road at around 4:30 p.m.

Police say David Morris hit Alexander Flanders, 21, of Rutland.

During the course of the investigation, police say that Morris had a license that was under criminal suspension for a prior DUI.

Morris additionally displayed signs of impairment and was screened for DUI.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland barracks.

He was processed for DUI #2, and released on a citation to appear in court on October 12.
