Driver arrested for DUI after crash in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH — A 43-year-old Ludlow man arrested for DUI following a two-vehicle crash in Plymouth yesterday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 100 at around 6:00 p.m.

Following an investigation, police say they observed John J. Griffin displaying signs of alcohol impairment.

Griffin was screened for driving under the influence and arrested.

He was transported to the State Police barracks for processing.

He was released with a citation to appear in court to answer the charge of driving under the influence.

State Police were assisted by the Plymouth Fire Department and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
