RUTLAND — A 35-year-old woman was arrested for DUI and possession of regulated drugs, following an incident in Rutland yesterday.
Police say they were notified of a 911 emergency call in the area of Holiday Drive at around 9:40 p.m.
Witnesses described an idling vehicle in the parking lot with the operator passed out behind the wheel.
The driver was identified as Stephanie Horvath, of Rutland.
Police say Horvath showed signs of impairment and was screened for DUI.
She was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the State Police barracks in Rutland for processing.
Police say a search of Horvath’s person yielded regulated drugs.
Following an investigation, police say she had violated her court-ordered conditions of release.
After processing, Horvath was released with a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.
