KILLINGTON — A 52-year-old Londonderry woman was charged with DUI following a crash in Killington yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Route 4 at around 9:10 p.m.
According to the police report, Eileen Ettore was headed west when she was unable to maintain her lane of travel and went off the north side of the road.
After leaving the road, Ettore’s truck hit a speed limit sign and came to rest in a drainage ditch filled with rocks.
Police say Ettore was not reporting any injuries as a result of the crash and her vehicle sustained minor damage to the front bumper area.
During the crash investigation, police say Ettore displayed indicators of impairment.
They took Ettore into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence and transported her to the State Police barracks in Rutland for processing.
After processing she was issued a citation to appear in court at a later date.
