WELLS — A motorcyclist hit a car on Saturday in Wells.
At midnight, police were dispatched to the crash scene which took place on Vermont Route 30.
Police say the motorcycle operator was being attended to by someone in the area during the incident with nursing skills.
Police say the car was driven by a 72-year-old JoAnn Crawford, of Granville, and the motorcyclist was Quentin Haeseler, 72 of Canterbury, Connecticut.
According to the police report, Crawford was pulling across the northbound lane to head south.
Haeseler, headed north around the corner, laid his bike down and slid into Crawford, which avoided a direct collision.
Police say Haeseler sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
He was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
Police say Crawford was uninjured.
