Police: Woman arrested for selling crack cocaine in Proctor

PROCTOR — A 34-year-old woman was arrested in Proctor for selling crack cocaine yesterday.

Police say they arrested Carmen Thompson, of Proctor, following a drug investigation.

The investigation involved the use of confidential informants who purchased crack cocaine from her on Grove Street.

Authorities executed a search warrant at Thompson’s home as well.

Police say they located nearly 12.5 grams of crack cocaine during the search.

She was transported to the Vermont State Police barracks in Rutland where she was processed.

She is scheduled to appear in court on February 3.

Police say they are still investigating this case.
