RUTLAND — A 39-year-old man driving with a criminally suspended license was arrested for DUI in Rutland yesterday.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop on Old Falls Road at around 11:20 p.m.

The driver was identified as Nicholas Henning, of Rutland.

Police say during the stop, they learned that Henning was driving with a criminally suspended license and that he had two active warrants for his arrest out of Rutland County.

Henning further displayed several indicators of impairment, police say.

Police ultimately took Henning into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence, driving with a criminally suspended license, as well as the two warrants.

He was transported to the State police barracks in Rutland for processing.

Police say he was cited to appear in court on Monday and transported to Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.
