ROCKINGHAM — A 34-year-old Rutland man with an active warrant was arrested in Rockingham over the weekend.

Police say they observed a disabled vehicle parked on Vermont Route 103 at around 11:36 p.m. and stopped to render assistance.

Police said that the person with the vehicle, identified as Michael S. Hunter, had an active warrant out of New Hampshire.

Police arrested Hunter and transported him to the Westminster barracks for processing.

He was charged as a fugitive from justice and held on $10,000.00 bail.
