RUTLAND — A local woman is facing charges after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend on South Main Street in Rutland.

On Tuesday, 23-year-old Tijanique Keyanna Reeves-Brown pleaded not guilty to a first-degree felony charge of aggravated domestic assault with a weapon.

The victim suffered a 1-inch long stab wound after Reeves-Brown allegedly attacked him in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy, before fleeing the area.

At the Rutland Regional Medical Center, the victim told police he had been stabbed because he wanted to end the relationship.

Reeves-Brown was spotted at the hospital and was arrested on Crescent Street after leaving.

She could be sentenced to up to 15 years in jail if convicted of the charges and is being held without bail.
