Three injured during single-vehicle crash, Poultney

POULTNEY — A 24-year-old Danby man and two passengers, including a 4-year-old child, were injured during a single-vehicle crash in Poultney yesterday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 140 at around 12:00 p.m.

Police say the vehicle was laying on the drivers’ side and obstructing both travel lanes when they arrived.

All occupants exited the vehicle on their own.

According to the report, Nolan B. Patch was headed west when he traveled off the side of the road rolling the vehicle onto its side.

All three inside the vehicle were transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center, police say.

State Police were assisted by Poultney Rescue and Poultney Volunteer Fire Department.
