Three-vehicle crash on US Route 7, Rutland

RUTLAND — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash in Rutland yesterday.

The crash took place on US Route 7, near Seward Road at around 3:10 p.m.

According to the report, Stacey Brutkoski, 36, of Bomoseen, was headed north on US Route 7, Robert King, 77, of Rutland, was headed north on US Route 7 at a complete stop, and Lawrence Gorman, 66, of Middletown Springs, was headed north on US Route 7 coming to a stop.

Police say Brutkoski rear-ended King which resulted in King’s vehicle being pushed forward into Gorman.

Brutkoski’s vehicle was towed from the crash scene, police say.

The other two vehicles were able to be driven away.

Police say nobody was injured in this crash.

State police were assisted by Regional Ambulance Service, Rutland Town Fire Department, and the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department.
