Three-vehicle crash on US Route 7, Rutland

RUTLAND — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash in Rutland yesterday.

The crash took place at the intersection of US Route 7 and Middle Road at around 11:56 a.m.

Following an investigation, police say that Carmen Napolitano, 58, of Manchester, was headed south on US Route 7, Tammy Parker, 61, of Clarendon, was headed east from Middle Road onto US Route 7, and Kristen Poljacik, 34, of Landgrove, was headed north on US Route 7 but stopped for a red light.

Parker exited Middle Road and hit Napolitano’s vehicle in the passenger side doors causing significant damage to both vehicles.

Police say Napolitano then skidded into Poljacik’s vehicle.

State Police were assisted by Rutland Town Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service.

Police are still investigating this crash.
