RUTLAND — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Route 7 and Middle Road this morning.
The incident took place at around 6:00 a.m.
According to the police report, Frederick Boudreau, 56, of Rutland, was on Middle Road intending to cross the intersection to Windcrest Road.
Richard Dorman, 82, also of Rutland was headed south on US Route 7.
Police say the north and southbound traffic control signals were flashing yellow and the east to west traffic control signals were flashing red.
Boudreau advised he did not see Dorman’s car when he pulled into the intersection.
Dorman’s vehicle struck the driver side of Boudreau’s truck.
Police say they were assisted by the Rutland Town Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service.
Both drivers declined medical treatment.
