Vermont-based snow sports brand looks to the future

ESSEX JUNCTION — Gordini, the Vermont-based snow sports hand-wear and accessories company founded in 1956, is looking to the future with a new brand campaign featuring a new logo, website, creative campaign, and product line.

Based in Vermont and independently-owned, Gordini has been pushing the limits of glove design for more than 60 years.

The company has grown to be a leader in the world of cold-weather accessories, developing high-performing, high-quality products that combine proven materials with the latest in technology.

As an independently-owned and operated local business situated in the Green Mountains, the new logo represents Gordini’s alpine origins.

Gordini partnered with California-based Libre Design Studio on the brand evolution.

“We are proud that over the last 60 years Gordini has distinguished itself as a customer-focused company that is driven to design quality products that keeps you outside longer in comfort and style,” said David Gellis, President of Gordini USA. “Working with Libre was an inspiring process as we looked to update our branding while preserving the heritage that stands behind our mark.”

The Libre team paid homage to the company’s original branding with slanted styling that is a subtle nod to the previous logo, with a mountain range detail that serves as a signature of its Vermont roots.

The newly-launched gordini.com reveals the scope of this latest brand evolution, including exclusive product photography and a refined color palette.

The site showcases the 2019–20 Winter Collection, as well as enhanced profiles of Gordini’s team athletes featuring social media and video content from team trips around the globe.

“We were extremely excited to have a meeting of the minds to bring to light what the Gordini brand stands for through its redesign,” said Justin Heit, founder of Libre Design Studio.

This visual story will be on full display later this month at the Outdoor Retailer trade show in Denver, Colorado.

Gordini will unveil a brand new booth along with its 2020–21 Winter Collection.
