BERLIN — A 60-year-old man from Texas was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Berlin yesterday.

Police were notified that a tractor-trailer was jackknifed and blocking the right lane on I-89 north at around 6: 20 p.m.

Police say the driver was identified as Domingo Najera, who was outside the vehicle with no injuries when they arrived.

Najera was headed north when he drove over black ice, causing him to lose control and crash into the guardrail.

Interstate 89 north between exit 6 and 7 was shut down temporarily to allow for the truck to be removed.
