Man arrested after shooting at Moretown home

MORETOWN — A 73-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges following a shooting incident in Moretown yesterday.

Police were notified that a man was shooting a gun at a home on Bat Hennesey Road at around 7:32 p.m.

Police say they arrived at the home and secured the scene.

Following an investigation, police allege that Wade D. Booska, 73, of Moretown, had shot several rounds from a .22 caliber handgun toward the area of a 50-year-old Jarrette Blow’s home.

A 26-year-old woman from Moretown was also present at the home when the shots were fired.

Police arrested Booska and transported him to the Middlesex barracks for processing.

He was lodged at the North East Correctional Center and ordered to appear at the court today to answer two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of reckless endangerment.
