MONTPELIER — A 27-year-old Essex man was arrested for driving with a criminally suspended license and having an active warrant in Montpelier yesterday.
Police say they pulled over a vehicle driven by Alexander Seagroves for a moving violation on Memorial Drive at around 11:10 p.m.
After checking the status of Seasgroves’ license, police found that he was currently under criminal suspension and had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear from a violation of conditions of release charge.
Police took Seagroves into custody without incident and transported him to the Barre City Police Department to be held on $200 bail.
He was issued a citation for driving with a license suspended.
He was scheduled to appear in court on March 26.
