WATERBURY — A 68-year-old man was charged following an incident in Waterbury yesterday.

Police say they were alerted to a dispute between citizens at an apartment building on North Main Street at around 11:00 a.m.

Following an investigation, police allege that David P. Bessette, of Waterbury, engaged in disorderly conduct directed at the victim, identified as Constance Murray, 71, of Waterbury.

“This conduct included the use of expletives, physically violent behavior, spitting, and exposing his buttocks to the victim,” a statement issued by police reads.

Police located Bessette today and served a citation to appear in court on July 9 to answer to the charge of aggravated disorderly conduct.
