Waterbury man arrested for 3rd DUI, neglect of a vulnerable adult

MORETOWN — A 35-year-old Waterbury man was arrested following an incident in Moretown yesterday.

Police were notified by dispatch of an unconscious man on Moretown Mountain Road at around 6:41 p.m.

Police located the vehicle and spoke with a witness and a passenger.

The driver was identified as Joshua A. Pellerin, of Waterbury.

Pellerin displayed numerous signs of impairment, police say, and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the Influence.

He was also in violation of court order condition of release not to consume alcohol.

Pellerin was in charge of a vulnerable adult who was present with him in the vehicle.

He was transported to the Middlesex barracks where he was processed and released with a citation to appear in court for the charges of DUI #3, violation of conditions of release, and neglect of a vulnerable adult.
