Williamstown man arrested for 4th DUI

WILLIAMSTOWN — A 37-year-old man was arrested for his fourth DUL following an incident in Williamstown on Saturday.

Police say they initiated a traffic stop on Vermont Route 14 at around 7:35 p.m.

The driver was identified as Walter Foley, of Williamstown, who showed signs of impairment.

Following an investigation, police allege that Foley was under the influence of alcohol.

Foley had a criminally suspended license and was in violation of his court-ordered conditions not to consume alcohol or drive a motor vehicle.

And also he did not have a court-ordered interlock device installed in the vehicle.

He was arrested and transported him to the Middlesex State Police barracks for processing.

He was later released with a criminal citation to appear in court.
